HomiensWhether you are an emerging artist seeking a definitive career launchpad or an established professional, the Homiens Art Prize represents a meritocratic and prestigious gateway to significant industry recognition. Open to all artists, the Homiens Art Prize is a high-impact, career-defining opportunity engineered to provide a global stage for our winners and finalists, who feature in our quarterly exhibitions. Our contest accepts all artworks, mediums, and art forms, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, printmaking, installation, and audiovisual. Artworks completed in any year are eligible. There are no theme or size restrictions. Each round we announce 3 winners, 12 finalists, and up to 200 highly commended artists. As a premier international initiative awarding over $12,000 USD in annual unrestricted funding, our non-acquisitive (ownership retained by the artist) prize serves as a catalyst for measurable professional growth. By participating, artists gain entry into a strategic ecosystem that bridges the gap between creative production and the global art market’s key stakeholders, including public institutions, curators, and private buyers. Our prize additionally offers international visibility via exciting features such as our curated Meet the Artists initiative, our Promoted Artists program, and The Art of Art: Interviews (our artist interview series).
Prizes: $12,000 USD awarded annually.
In each round, 3 winners receive $1,000 USD each.
The winners and 12 finalists are featured in our prestigious seasonal exhibition.
Up to 200 artists are highly commended.
Winners are invited to participate in The Art of Art: Interviews (our artist interview series), and may request a letter of recommendation from our jurors.
We celebrate our selected artists across our platforms, including our website (with over 100,000 annual visitors) and our extensive mailing list.
Their work is exhibited online, reaching artists and collectors worldwide.
Homiens provides a platform for artists to network and collaborate, connect with a global audience of buyers and collectors, gain institutional recognition, and access opportunities within the professional art world.
Each entrant may request a certificate of participation, which can support professional credentials within the art industry.
